It’s been a busy and enjoyable year at Roseneath School. Here are our 2018 Highlights!

Roseneath School is a “country school in the city” with a roll of about 120. It is nestled into the Pohutukawas on Point Jerningham headland.

It is a vibrant, inclusive school where children love to learn and our Roseneath graduates leave as confident, connected, actively involved, life-long learners. We had so many activities in 2018 that were part of this process:

  • some of our students represented our school in the Roseneath ANZAC Memorial Service;

  • we performed in our “Let’s Dance” show - where kids of all ages had the opportunity to showcase their dance training from Dances for Schools as well as their own choreography, we shared our learning with whānau during open afternoons, and performed at the Michael Fowler Centre in the Artsplash Wearable Arts and Dance shows.

  • we have had numerous sporting and academic successes.

  • our Roseneath School Friends fundraising committee have organised another year of fun events, raising money for our school playground upgrade, and work on this is due to start in January 2019.

Please feel free to drop in to have a look around - we’d love to meet you and your whanau. Visit our website www.roseneath.school.nz
